We were sad to hear that Triple Crown contender, I’ll Have Another, was not only withdrawn from the final race of the Triple Crown due to an injury but the three-year-old colt is forced to retire because of it. The injury is the start of tendinitis and while the horse could have run, the owner, Paul Reddam, did the right thing for the sake of the horse’s health by pulling him from competition.
It’s nice to see that it’s not always about money or fame . Bravo, Paul Reddam! We hope you get another chance in the future. You deserve it.
