The Price of Success

We’re huge football fans and are ready for football season to start.  This is a great quote from Coach Belichick of the New England Patriots, “The price for success is always paid in advance.”

No doubt he knows what it takes to build a great team and dynasty.  Hard work, determination and paying your dues beforehand do pay off in the end.  Just ask any Olympic gold medalist or Super Bowl MVP!  This includes not just the physical aspect of practice drills and strength training but the mental component of watching film to study your opponent, memorizing plays and gaining the mental toughness to learn from defeat and move forward hoping it is enough to pay off.

Why we work so hard is because we don’t expect good things to just happen to us–we create the potential for greatness by doing the very best we can with no guarantees.
