The focus of The Light Bringer Series is to show through positive action how to rise above challenges and to encourage others to find a way to turn an adversity into an advantage. That’s why we had to applaud Whitney Kropp of Ogemaw Heights High School for standing tall despite her homecoming court nomination not beginning with the best of intentions. We salute her quiet display of courage of how to take on bullies and emotionally small individuals. It is a great reminder that inner strength is true power and that there is always safety in valor.
